News just in- Reynard City Chronicles launch party report!
So to recap, on Tuesday 23rd October 2018 we officially launched the release of the Reynard City Chronicles graphic novel series. It’s the first story in a new series, starting with a great issue by Nicholas Webb and Strider Syd (who previously collaborated on Reynard City Issue 11, a recent Youtube video you can see below, video by John Paul Guerra)
Reynard City Chronicles #1 is a reboot of the original story. In some respects it is similar to the previous webcomic series (incidentally still accessible on the website and always will be!), with the basic premise of three superhero foxes and their friends uniting to stop an evil robot fox.
However, some crucial differences occur- in this case, the initial focus is on Vibes McAllister, who believes she is a human leading a normal life, only to discover that what she thought were dreams were visions of a previous life on another planet (you can find out more in the Reynard City Chronicles section of the site, but there is a preview page below)
Now, normally when I write a blog like this about a Reynard City Chronicles launch party, I’m talking about it myself. However this time around, I’ve been stunned by the amount of people who spread the word for us. A massive part of this is down to the efforts of Baobab Marketing who co-organised with us, alongside our venue the Gin Temple.
Before I share the tweets, Instagram pics etc, I just want to say a massive thank you to both Caron from Baobab and Teresa from the Gin Temple, as they really did a top job. It was also great to see the Norwich Kitty team, Gizzy and a number of local backers all mingling together, topped off with a fun quiz between Iain Tibbet and Gizzy.
And here as promised are some pics/tweets!
