Jim Keeble runs Visualise (the awesome people who make our website) alongside Jo Keeble (who also runs Jo’s Gym). He is fighting in a special charity boxing match to raise money for Help For Heroes on the 15th July and you can find his Justgiving page here.
There is also a personal reason that Jim is taking part in this event. Paul Rudd (pictured) founded business networking organisation Norwich Kitty who sadly died earlier this year. As well as supporting local businesses, he was also passionate about raising money for charities and Help For Heroes was one that he was particularly supported.
Help For Heroes raises money supporting wounded soldiers as well as their families. Each donation to Jim’s Justgiving will go towards this charity.
However, it is worth knowing just how much effort goes into this training. I have done some fitness sessions at Jo’s Gym so I can tell you that just an hour of training is hard. Also I did martial arts for a number of years, and just sparring for a few minutes requires a lot of preparation and training. Now imagine that but multiply it by a few months and up the intensity, not to mention the fact he is literally getting in the ring and putting his body on the line for this event! If you require further proof, look at the video below!
In other words- this is something they have worked hard for and so please donate what you can and share the page. Visualise and Norwich Kitty members have been incredibly supportive to us as sponsors (as you will see from our recent Indiegogo blog), so I hope you can help them out as well. Good luck Jim, I’m sure you’ll be awesome.
